Who says makeup is only for girls? From David Bowie and Boy George to Adam Lambert, Jared Leto and today’s crop of glam rockers, the impact men have made on the art of makeup is one that still resonates through the present day and boys keep swinging!

Pretty Boy, OCC’s new Fall/Winter 2011 Colour Collection, takes its inspiration from these artists and performers to present a palette created to empower all genders to express themselves with color.

The creative process began backstage at the Fall/Winter 2011 Collections where the runways were littered with brightly coloured makeup including intense neons and saturated pastels, not typical of what to expect from makeup trends meant for the later months of the year. Models alike took to the runway in bold neon lips, multi-colored eyes and at some shows, they were literally covered head-to-toe in glitter! OCC’s take on the trend features 6 new intense shades of Lip Tar, alongside new Nail Lacquers, Loose Colours, Pure Pigment powders (a pro favorite!) and Glitter to finish off the look with a bold and dramatic flourish.

LIP TAR

Goes on slick and moist, and dries down to a satin finish. Ultra-saturated in color, Lip Tar contains an unprecedented amount of pigment - a little goes a very, very long way!

LOOSE COLOUR CONCENTRATE
$12.00 USD | 2.5G - Micronized colour pigments fused with shimmering mica for use on the eyes, and anywhere else on the face and body. These lightweight, ultra-refined, densely pigmented powders apply shimmer smoothly and beautifully, wherever it's needed.

PURE COLOUR PIGMENT
$12.00 USD | 2.5G - 100% pure, uncut pigments. Makeup reduced to its most basic essential: colour itself. This pro-only, matte-finish powder can be used by itself (sparingly!) but works best mixed into other cosmetic bases including our Mixing Medium, Primer and Clear Lip Tar.

COSMETIC GLITTER

$12.00 USD | 2.5g - Micronized metallic glitter for all of your face and body art applications. Our ultra small particle glitter comes in a wide array of fashion-forward colours that photograph beautifully. Please Note: Not for use in an airbrush, and not recommended for use in the immediate eye area.

NAIL LACQUER
8.00 USD - A modern colour palette and formulation to match, OCC's professional quality nail lacquers are densely pigmented, quick-drying and super long lasting. Formulated with the Editorial Manicurist in mind, the result is lots of color using very little product for nails that are camera-ready just moments after the application.
